Montrachet has quietly held the title for best French restaurant in Brisbane. Montrachet’s creators Carol and Thierry Galichet love to share good times with others and a measure of the success of all of their restaurants must lie with their genuine attitude of hospitality. The long, narrow restaurant features a long red leather sofa that runs the length of the room, while tables with white linen cloths are lined up perfectly with plump wine glasses and heavy cutlery.

Montrachet displays an unrivalled elegance and ambience- sails baked in little pots with garlic butter, tomato and spinach topped with puff pastry lid – or  a range of seafood such as Bouillabaisse, duck (Canard Roti) lamb (Cote d’Agneau) and steak (Filets de boeuf with frites and salade– a double baked souffle with sand crab meat and gruyere cheese finished with a light cream sauce.
